Eating Disorders Treatment at Austin Sendero
Austin Sendero is the newest facility in the CRC Health Group family, located less than 40 miles northeast of downtown Austin, Texas. Austin Sendero was created as an answer to the need for treatment facilities for anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorders in males and females who also struggle with compulsive exercise. We at Austin Sendero are committed to bringing healthy living and healing to these individuals.
Once entering the grounds of Austin Sendero, patients are greeted with a gorgeous scenic view overlooking rolling hills on a 25 acre estate. An overall feeling of peace and serenity surrounds Austin Sendero with country charm and tranquility to concentrate on healing. We believe that a calming, accepting place is the first step to successful treatment.
Inside Austin Sendero, patients will feel comforted by the warm and soothing colors selected to make each patient feel at home. Patients will have access to an exercise room, art therapy, swimming pool accommodations, on-site chef, and small patient to staff ratios. An exercise room is provided for our patients to learn healthy exercise habits that will help build physical strength. Each patient is monitored throughout their stay at Austin Sendero by trained staff who are motivated to help those with eating disorders overcome their individual hurdles and build a path to recovery.

Austin Sendero offers residential treatment for both males and females, age 17 and up, with an emphasis on fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Every person who enters Austin Sendero is an individual, and this individualism is the cornerstone of success in treatment. Treatment plans are completed for each patient and specifically tailored to his or her needs.
