Brad Kennington, M.A., LMFT, LPC – Executive Director
Brad Kennington, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He joined CRC Health Group, Inc. in 2007. Before joining CRC, Brad was a therapist with Austin Psychiatric Consultants where he specialized in the treatment of eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma and relationship issues. In treating eating disorders, Brad has provided individual, family and group therapy and has a special focus on male eating disorders. He has been interviewed by Newsweek and the Wall Street Journal on the topic of body image issues and eating disorders in boys and men. Brad is a founding member of Austin Eating Disorder Specialists and is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Before entering the mental health field, Brad worked as a chief of staff to a state representative in Austin. Currently, Brad serves as the chair of governmental affairs for the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and continues to advocate for mental health issues before the Texas Legislature. Brad received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his Masters in Professional Counseling from Texas State University in San Marcos.
Dana Bevill M.S., LPC – Clinical Director
Dana joins Austin Sendero with 14 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families as a licensed professional therapist and a licensed professional therapist approved supervisor. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Southwest Texas State University, along with her master’s degree in counseling psychology with a specialization in marriage and family therapy from Our Lady of the Lake University. She began her clinical experience working with women and children struggling in domestic violence situations. She provided therapy and guidance in building a healthier lifestyle and looking at the patterns that have caught them in the cycle of abuse. Her clinical path then took her to working with adolescents and adults that had difficulties with alcohol and drug abuse issues. This experience has led her to understanding and providing intense therapy to assist in the recovery process. Finally, Dana has provided individual, family and group therapy to individuals placed in a psychiatric inpatient/residential treatment facility. Dana helped patients identified as having neurobehavioral problems, rage disorders, eating disorders, oppositional defiant disorders, Bipolar disorders and numerous personality related disorders that have led to such turmoil and pain in their lives. During her down time she enjoys outdoor activities, dancing, music and time with her family. Through all of her experience and expertise, Dana has come to understand and relate to her patients and families. Her dedication and compassion for what she does is exceptional.
Pam Huepers, RN, BSN
Pam has enjoyed working as a registered nurse, particularly in the mental health field, for twenty-four years. She is trained in both medical and psychiatric nursing. Pam has worked with patients across the life span, including children, adolescents and adults who have struggled with eating disorders, mood disorders, behavioral problems and neurological disorders. She is committed to the potential for change and growth that can be realized in patients when provided the proper attention and care.
Pam earned her BSN from the University of St.Thomas in Houston and has been working in the Austin area for the last few years. In her time off, she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors canoeing, hiking and gardening. She also enjoys cooking and reading.
Dr. Michael Musgrove - Psychiatrist
Dr. Michael Musgrove began his career by completing his Pre-Med studies at the University of Puerto Rico at Ponce. He then went on to graduate from medical school at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico with honors. In June 2008 Dr. Musgrove completed his residency in General Psychiatry locally at the Austin Medical Education Programs Department of Psychiatry. He is currently preparing for Board Certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Prior to joining Austin Sendero, Dr. Musgrove practiced in a number of residential treatment centers and correctional facilities as well as at his private practice in Round Rock, TX. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Musgrove is a published author in psychiatry journals. As a psychiatrist, Dr. Musgrove serves a crucial role in coordinating the comprehensive care delivered to our patients. Dr. Musgrove lives in Georgetown, TX where he is happily married and enjoys such activities as running and an occasional game of chess.
Suzie Solenberger, MS, RD/LD
Suzie Solenberger, MS, RD/LD has specialized in weight management with an intuitive-mindful eating & exercise approach for over ten years. Her work is a combination of academics, personal experience, and practice.
During her academic years she had the opportunity to travel to Sydney, Australia were she interned at a world-class eating disorders hospital specializing in the treatment of anorexia and bulimia with use of dietitians and exercise specialists. Her work was published in Eating Behaviors journal and presented at the International Conference on Eating Disorders. Suzie has instructed college courses on Eating Disorders, Weight Management, and Exercise Physiology. She holds her Master’s degree in Exercise Science and is a Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association.
Prior to moving to Austin, she was promoted to partner after her nutrition and exercise programming with a personal training studio in Dallas, Texas. Suzie currently trains health professionals in an online intuitive eating program and has over 300 Eating Coaches across the United States. Her work with patient, families, and health professionals includes the science and practical experiences with nutrition and exercise. Suzie cooks, exercises, educates, and provides nutrition therapy in person, on the phone, in the grocery store, and restaurants.
Personally, Suzie enjoys time with her friends, family, church, and her time to take a break and exercise. She likes to swim, run, yoga, and recently finished a swim from Alcatraz to shore and a run up Pikes Peak Mountain. She is currently the President of WOVI Austin, a group focused on supporting & empowering women. Her passion to help others sustain a shape and feel confident about their body is firmly rooted in her practical application of academics, personal experience, and work with patients.
Page Love, MS, RD, LD – Consultant
Page Love, MS, RD, LD, is a leading nutrition expert and owner of Nutrifit, Sport, Therapy, Inc., a company dedicated to helping clients reach wellness goals. The Nutrifit team specializes in counseling for disease prevention, weight management, sport nutrition, eating disorders, and more.
As a sports nutrition expert, Page has worked with professionals, collegiate teams, and individual athletes. Recent clients include the Womens Professional Tennis Tour, Atlanta Braves, the U.S. Tennis Association, and U.S. Figure Skating Association. She provides individual and group counseling for disordered eating and has developed programs for the National Eating Disorders Association, Eating Disorders Information Network, and The Renfrew Center.
Page is an outstanding public speaker as well as assists reputable nutrition-oriented companies as a media spokesperson. Nutrifit also provides corporate wellness programs, continuing education for health professionals, and state-of-the-art metabolic assessments.
Her credentials include being a registered dietitian of the American Dietetic Association, a health and fitness instructor certified by the American College of Sports Medicine. Page is consulted by media locally and nationally and has been featured as an expert by programs/publications such as CNN’s On the Menu and Headline News, Good Day Atlanta, Women’s Sports Illustrated, Tennis Magazine, People Magazine, WSB Radio, Z93 Radio, and Fox News.
Holly Grimm, MS, LMFT-A – Primary Therapist
Holly Grimm received her training from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. She has since acquired her license and begun practicing in Austin, Texas. Holly has experience working with children, families, and adult clients within multiple modalities. Specifically, she has a broad experience dealing with children and adult victims of sexual abuse, as well as substance abuse, depression and anxiety. She has also had extensive experience working with preadolescent girls within her small business, Friendship Forward, focusing on healthy growth and social development in young females. Holly’s education provided her with a rich clinical experience as well as a strong foundation on issues of spirituality and faith among people of all walks of life. Spirituality is central to her holistic view of health and is an integral part of her work towards true healing and connection.
In addition to her clinical training, Holly’s personal experience as a tri-athlete and runner has greatly shaped and encouraged her holistic approach to health and wellness as a therapist. She is able to focus special attention to issues involving the disciplines faced by many athletes in training
Holly has experience working with a broad range of therapeutic issues and is committed to a practice of on-going personal development, spiritual growth and learning. She is currently a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy as well as the Austin Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
Kris Pelky, B.S. – Office-Operations Manager
Kris comes to us with a 12 yr background of clinical and administrative medical expertise. Her experiences with patient care as a CNA, EMT helps her to understand and relate to patients and their families on many levels. Kris has worked in large hospitals, emergency rooms, dementia eldercare facilities, Alzheimer’s assistant living facility, and specialized clinics. She served in the Air Force for four years as an Aeromedical Technician in which she also earned her associate’s degree from Okaloosa-Walton College in Liberal Arts. Kris has a very vast background in operations management, third party collections, billing, coding, medical records, quality assurance, clinical research, and has successfully opened two facilities to include a recent psychiatric hospital from the ground up. Kris earned her B. S Business Administration Healthcare Management degree, along with 7 professional certificates, Summa Cum Laude honors from Colorado Technical University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, the outdoors, playing softball, and boating. Her overall clinical, operational management and dedication to staff, patients, and their families ensures that no details will be overlooked.
Lorena Hampton – Intake Coordinator
Lorena has worked in healthcare settings since 1988 and joins the Austin Sendero team after having worked in varied levels of care. As a Respiratory Therapist, she worked in Temple, Galveston, and Austin, Texas in trauma centers and intensive care units for both pediatrics and adults. She then became involved with management of Geriatric Care services in Long Term Care facilities throughout Texas. She followed that by working with a long-term acute care hospital group in Austin as Admissions Coordinator and Clinical Liaison for the four hospitals in the group.
Most recently, Lorena has devoted her time to education of Hospice/End-of-Life care to medical communities as well as the general public for the past five years.
She and her husband, Chris, have been together for over 20 years and together have raised three sons. Today she is also raising a miniature horse and four dogs. She loves outdoor sports activities and singing. Her varied medical background, as well as a genuine affinity to assist others, will ensure that our patients’ needs are being met with the most appropriate care and placement to achieve their goals.
Katherine Enos, B.S. – Head Resident Patient Assistant
Kate recently graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She was involved in cross country and long distance track in high school and since then has continued to run long distance for leisure. In her spare time, Kate loves horses, and has been riding horses since she learned to walk and they are a big part of her life. She hopes to gain her license in Marriage and Family Therapy soon.
Korina Gonzalez, RPA/CNA
Korina joins Austin Sendero with an extensive background in the nursing field. Her experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) has given her the opportunity to better understand people from different backgrounds, cultures, and healthcare needs. Korina's experience consists of helping patients with eating disorders, behavioral problems and physical handicaps. Driven by her passion, Korina is relentless when it comes to delivering results that leave a lasting impression in the patient's life. Helping people is Korina's goal in life, therefore being passionate and caring comes naturally for her. When not tending to others, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, dancing, and reading.
